Harry Potter Summer Camp

The most exciting Harry Potter Summer yet!  If your child even remotely
enjoys Harry Potter, this camp will be the highlight of their summer!

Our camp is packed with wizarding fun!  Our professors kick off each
term of camp with the sorting of the first years into one of four
houses-- Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff,  or Slytherin.  From there,
young "wizards" magically spend their day playing Quidditch (as
realistic as possible sans flying brooms), dueling wizards, practicing
defense against the dark arts, concocting potions, checking out gags at
Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, honing wands, solving mysteries, breaking
codes and "saving" friends from mazes of adventures.  To unwind from
such challenges, galleons (wizard money) will be given to each child to
budget throughout the week.  Students will shop at Hogsmeade stores
such as the Three Broomsticks for butterbeer, Honeydukes for whimsical
sweet treats such as chocolate frogs and tongue-torturing toffee,
Zonkos for juxtaposing jokes, and Florean Fortesques for ice cream
tasties.  Robes and other wizarding or Harry Potter gear are more than
welcome.  Throughout the year, house points are tallied through all of
our Harry Potter programs.  At the end of the summer, the house cup is
awarded to the house with the most points.  (Hufflepuff is the reigning
house.)  Each day of camp will include new activities.  Please bring
bottled water and a healthy snack with all items properly labeled with
camper name and phone number, all in a leak proof bag or cooler.  Ages
7-12.
